This is the history of Crash McCloud the character
On September 6th 2006 I created what would become my furry fandom persona (Fursona) Crash McCloud. He started out as the "adopted son of James McCloud" (CLICHE!) for a story I had created known as "Infiltrate" the story would be about a young on reserve soldier (Crash) who would be called on duty to make way into an enemy base that had been creating mind control serium and injecting it into kidnapped soldiers to work again their own teams. The story included several other characters from several other artists (you know who you are) and unfortunately tunred out into a complete mess. Sure it was entertaining at first but eventually grew old very quickly with all the cliches and what not in it.
Back at this time Crash was unfortunately what one would call a "Fan Character" by having the name of a famous video game character and being related to that character's family in some way. A few months later due to a lot of drama Crash was unfortunately stolen by a website (that will remain nameless) for a comic featuring Krystal from the StarFox series. This would cause the first major change I had for Crash McCloud.
Crash would change entirely from a Cornerian character to a Mobian. This was the first time Crash would take on a wrestling persona in my next story called "The Main Event" this story again featured characters from other artists who were willing to contribute to the story include a brand new character of mine "Cobalt". Cobalt would play the villian of this story. The story was about a rookie wrestler (Crash) joining in on the Brutality Wrestling Federation and brutual was right about the company. The company was known for having many injured superstars but it was all accidents. All of these accidents came and went on just about every BWF Superstar except for one. The current BWF World Heavyweight Champion, Cobalt. Cobalt was power hungry, money hungry, and just didn't want to do anything to damage his image so what did he do? Cobalt decided to injure any and all superstars he faced so the company couldn't take his championship and money away from him. This story unfortunately became unfinished due to a lot of people wanting their characters dropped from the series about half way into it.
Once again Crash the Mobian Fox would become stolen out of hatred by another artist (she was also in the main event story) and I was forced to change him once again. This time Crash would become a Kitsune style Fox and with little mention of the name McCloud anymore (even though it still exists). Crash remains as a professional wrestling character but in a different story line that doesn't involve wrestling and not written by me. This story is done by 3D modeler "Rachidna" and in this story Crash actually has a family of his own now including a lovely vixen wife "Mesmer" and now a one year old son "Jax" and this story is continuing to this day in age and you can read it on both Rachidna's Deviant Art and Fur Affinity page.
This is also the very first time Crash would come to life in the real world. Thanks to Darius Koopa in 2010 I was able to start joining in on the Furry Fandom for real. Early this year I was able to get a version of Crash McCloud the Kitsune as a partial fursuit and became "The Nexus Furry" Crash McCloud. The Nexus in real life was a group in World Wrestling Entertainment made completely of WWE Rookies (all Heels). As rookies they felt disrespected by the veterans and decided to take charge for themselves and honestly I felt like I could relate to that when I first started going to meets. I felt like I was forced behind the line instead of accepted by others. After a while that has changed. Crash remians The Nexus Furry today but soon will change once again.
Starting early on next year I start the next chapter of Crash McCloud with a new style of fursona. Crash will remain a Kitsune. Crash will remain a pro wrestler. Crash's appearance will change slightly. Crash has become a face (good guy) pro wrestler.
Crash McCloud version 4 will be known as two things. "The Intercontinental Champion" and "The Cult of Fursonality" and will be debuted as my new full fursuit early on next year.
Thanks to everybody for the support and the help on developing Crash McCloud over the last 5 years. I hope for many many more years with you all.
Crash McCloud - September 6th 2006 to September 6th 2011 and going on.
